μSA-X Servo Drive
The 5th Generation of PWM Servo Amplifiers from Motion Control Systems sees the introduction of the μSA-X series, a new product line that further miniaturizes the drive. This series is truly designed from the ground up to maximize reliability while minimizing size for those direct DC applications ranging from 20 - 360 VDC, and where high power/current output is still required. Modular, feature rich options allow the user to configure a solution that is optimized for their end application resulting in a high performance drive solution in a cost effective manner. MCS drive systems are field proven in a wide variety of servo/axis, spindle and other demanding high performance applications.

Mechanical Dimensions & Details
μSA-X series drives are designed for compact systems that require or allow for direct DC input. The system is
flexible in its mounting and thermal options as either enclosed (framed) or frameless can suit the end application requirements.
An isolated baseplate/heatspreader for either framed/frameless versions comes with the drive, and add-on thermal management systems (heatsink, fans, coldplates, etc…) are available as required, else customer can utilize an application’s existing coldplate, cabinet wall, or other thermal heatsinking mechanism to cool the drive.
Below shows dimensions and mounting for framed and frameless drive versions.
Please contact MCS for more information on thermal requirements.
