Operating from a 26,000-square-foot facility in Southwest Virginia, near the Virginia Tech campus, MCS specializes in the design and manufacture of advanced brushless DC motors and controllers engineered for exceptional efficiency, reliability, and low torque ripple and cogging characteristics. With power ranges spanning from under 1 HP to over 200 HP, our systems support a diverse array of applications.

MCS technology has played a pivotal role in high-density magnetic and optical disk storage, shaping advancements in the computer industry. Our expertise extends beyond data storage—our precision engineering drives innovation in optical machining, underwater propulsion systems, and other applications requiring superior efficiency and minimal structure-borne noise.

Controllers - 4 basic product lines. All amplifiers feature sinusoidal or trapezoidal motor commutation from a variety of feedback devices. Various power ratings are available.
